CareyRArt Summer Camp for Kids Grades 1-6 is focused on fostering Creativity, Community and Connection in an arts-based environment.

In this program participants will focus on working both independently and in groups; strengthening fine motor skills using scissors, paint markers, paint brushes; making connections between, and finding inspiration in, art and nature; and developing a basic understanding of abstraction, symbolism and impressionism. Students will create a piece of art each day, with an art show at the end of the week at which point they can bring all of their creations home!

The program is held at a residential home in St. Vital, located approximately 10 minutes south of Confusion Corner. It boasts a spacious, fenced backyard where most activities will take place outdoors. However, some components will be conducted indoors, and participants will also enjoy an excursion to St. Vital Park, just four blocks away.
